7th Development Update

We are excited to release our 7th development update. TeddySwap is an open-source decentralized AMM exchange protocol on Cardano focusing on stablecoins.

Introduction

Welcome to our 7th development update. We’ve made steady progress throughout the last couple of weeks and we are excited to share our updates as we prepare for our mainnet launch.

Our testnet has been live for over a week and has seen over 4,500 users and 200,000 transactions.

Technical Progress

The development team has progressed in several areas this week, deploying multiple updates and optimizations to enhance the user experience.

First and foremost, we are excited to announce the launch of the Incentivized Testnet Leaderboard, which is now live and accessible to all users. The leaderboard is designed to incentivize and reward users for their participation in the network, and we hope it will serve as a valuable tool for our community.

In the near future, the leaderboard will be updated to allow users to link their testnet addresses to their mainnet addresses, enabling the tracking of their Teddy Bears Club NFTs and related bonuses.

Moreover, the performance optimizations that we have applied to the leaderboard are foundational to the further improvement of the DEX itself. We hope these optimizations will enhance the speed and efficiency of the protocol, allowing for seamless trading for all users.

In addition, we have also deployed the Teddy Bears Club Website to provide accurate and up-to-date information for those who hold our NFTs.

In parallel with these updates, we have moved our Medium articles over to our new blog, and we are actively working on a refreshed documentation site, which will be deployed soon.

Additionally, we are working on the next updates for our DEX frontend. We expect to release an initial version of the newly improved DEX application shortly. This updated version will include several new features, including an Overview Page, Price Charts, Order Canceling & History function, and Transaction Chaining (where users no longer have to wait for previous transactions to be confirmed before submitting additional transactions, streamlining the trading process and enhancing the overall user experience).

Finally, we are completing our yield farming contracts. There are currently no yield farming contracts that are open source, so we are developing these from scratch. When this contract is complete, we will seek our 1st official audit prior to our mainnet release.
